Idaho High School Softball - Gooding holds off Homedale

Gooding Senators (Gooding, ID) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Homedale Trojans (Homedale, ID), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Senators now own a 16-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Kimberly for a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 20. Gooding will battle a Bulldogs squad coming off a 8-1 non-league win over Timberlake (Spirit Lake, ID). The Bulldogs record now stands at 23-2.
With the loss, Homedale falls to 23-8 on the campaign.
