In Monday's league challenge, the Cranston East Thunderbolts (Cranston, RI) baseball squad the visiting Cranston West Falcons (Cranston, RI), by a final score of 6-1.

With the win, Cranston East upgrades its record to 11-6 on the season. The Thunderbolts host North Kingstown (North Kingstown, RI) to battle the Skippers in a Division 1 (State) test on Wednesday, May 22. The Skippers come into the test with a record of 12-5. North Kingstown won 5-1 in their recent league test against Mt. Hope (Bristol, RI)

With the defeat, Cranston West falls to 7-11 on the season. The Falcons host Toll Gate (Warwick, RI) to battle the Titans in a Division 1 (State) test on Wednesday, May 22. The Titans come into the test with a record of 4-15. Toll Gate won 5-4 in their recent league test against Smithfield (Esmond, RI)
