In Monday's non-league game, the host Falmouth Clippers baseball team scored a tight 6-5 victory over the New Bedford Whalers.
The Clippers (8-9) will now prepare for their game against Old Rochester Regional (Mattapoisett, MA). The Bulldogs go into the non-league game with a 4-14 record.
The Whalers (4-11) will now prepare for their game against Brockton (Brockton, MA). The Boxers go into the Big Three contest with a 7-11 record. In their last contest, Brockton was nipped by Bridgewater-Raynham (Bridgewater, MA), 4-1, in a non-league contest.
