The Coventry Oakers volleyball team (Coventry, RI), lost 3-0 in Monday's league battle with the visiting Cranston East Thunderbolts (Cranston, RI)

The Thunderbolts (14-4) will now prepare for their battle against South Kingstown (Wakefield, RI). The Rebels come into the Division 1 (State) battle with a 2-14 record. In their last battle, South Kingstown lost by North Smithfield (North Smithfield, RI), 3-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Oakers encounter the East Greenwich Avengers (East Greenwich, RI) in a Division 1 (State) battle, on Tuesday, May 21. Coventry will attempt to advance on its 0-16 season record. The Avengers come into the battle with a 5-11 record after their 3-0 league win over Chariho (Wood River Junction, RI).
