Morristown-Beard Crimson (Morristown, NJ) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Academy of St. Elizabeth Panthers (Convent Station, NJ), 11-0 in a league challenge.

The Crimson now own a 12-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Academy of the Holy Angels for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 22. Morristown-Beard will battle a Angels squad coming off a 6-0 league loss to Immaculate Heart Academy (Washington Township, NJ). The Angels record now stands at 7-14.

With the loss, Academy of St. Elizabeth falls to 5-9 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to DePaul Catholic (Wayne, NJ) to battle the Spartans in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 29. The Spartans enter the challenge with a record of 13-12. DePaul Catholic lost 6-4 in their recent non-league challenge against Pope John XXIII (Sparta, NJ)
