Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart Mustangs (Hector, MN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Lester Prairie Bulldogs (Lester Prairie, MN), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Mustangs now own a 3-13 record. They take the field next when they travel to West Lutheran for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 21. Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart will battle a Warriors squad coming off a 7-2 league loss to PACT Charter (Ramsey, MN). The Warriors record now stands at 13-5.

With the loss, Lester Prairie falls to 4-16 on the campaign.
