Newmarket Mules (Newmarket, NH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Epping Blue Devils (Epping, NH), 3-1 in a league challenge.

The Mules now own a 14-2 record.

With the loss, Epping falls to 7-7 on the campaign. The Blue devils travel to Pittsfield (Pittsfield, NH) to battle the Panthers in a Division IV challenge on Tuesday, May 21. The Panthers enter the challenge with a record of 11-3. Pittsfield won 14-0 in their recent league challenge against Nute (Milton, NH)
