In Monday's non-league outing, the visiting Jonesport-Beals Royals softball team scored a close 6-5 win over the Searsport Vikings.

Coming up next, the Royals encounter the Narraguagus Knights (Harrington, ME) in a non-league outing, on Wednesday, May 22. Jonesport-Beals will attempt to improve on its 4-6 season record. The Knights enter the outing with a 8-4 record after their 12-1 non-league win over Shead (Eastport, ME).

The Vikings (2-10) will now prepare for their outing against Sumner (East Sullivan, ME). The Tigers come into the non-league contest with a 8-4 record. In their last contest, Sumner nipped George Stevens Academy (Blue Hill, ME), 16-6, in a league contest.
