Lexington Minutemen (Lexington, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Madison Comprehensive Rams (Mansfield, OH), 6-1 in a league challenge.

The Minutemen now own a 27-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Springfield for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 22. Lexington will battle a Spartans squad coming off a 13-6 league loss to Field (Mogadore, OH). The Spartans record now stands at 20-8.

With the loss, Madison Comprehensive falls to 20-8 on the campaign.
