The Pompton Lakes Cardinals routed the visiting Manchester Regional Falcons softball squad by a count of 21-0 in Monday's league battle.

The Cardinals (11-12) will now prepare for their battle against Dumont (Dumont, NJ). The Huskies go into the non-league battle with a 13-11 record. In their last battle, Dumont was routed by Northern Highlands (Allendale, NJ), 1-0, in a non-league battle.

The Falcons now sport a 2-17 record. They play next when they travel to Eastern Christian for a NJIC - Colonial battle on Tuesday, May 21. Manchester Regional will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 11-5 league loss to Butler (Butler, NJ). The Eagles record now stands at 7-14.
