The Weehawken Indians (Weehawken, NJ) softball routed the visiting Secaucus Patriots (Secaucus, NJ), 9-0 in Monday's league bout.
The Indians (25-1) will now prepare for their bout against Lyndhurst (Lyndhurst, NJ). The Golden Bears go into the NJIC - National bout with a 3-18 record. In their last bout, Lyndhurst was routed by North Arlington (North Arlington, NJ), 15-3, in a league bout.
The Patriots now possess a 4-16 record. They play next when they travel to St. Mary for a NJIC - National bout on Tuesday, May 21. Secaucus will confront a Gaels squad coming off a 4-2 non-league loss to Ramsey (Ramsey, NJ). The Gaels record now stands at 16-7.
