The Oceanside Mariners (Rockland, ME) baseball got by the visiting Belfast Lions (Belfast, ME), 2-1 in Tuesday's league challenge.

The Mariners now own a 6-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lawrence for a Class B North challenge on Wednesday, May 21. Oceanside will clash with a Bulldogs team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Skowhegan (Skowhegan, ME). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-4.

With the defeat, Belfast drops to 9-2 on the year. The Lions host Nokomis (Newport, ME) to clash with the Warriors in a Class B North challenge on Wednesday, May 21. The Warriors go into the challenge with a record of 3-4. Nokomis won 17-8 in their recent non-league challenge against Dirigo (Dixfield, ME)
