The Colchester Lakers (Colchester, VT) baseball trounced the visiting Rice Memorial Green Knights (South Burlington, VT), 10-0 in Tuesday's league challenge.

The Lakers now own a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bellows Free Academy for a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 22. Colchester will clash with a Bobwhites/Comets team coming off a 5-1 non-league loss to Mt. Mansfield (Jericho, VT). The Bobwhites/Comets record now stands at 1-4.

With the defeat, Rice Memorial drops to 5-4 on the year. The Green knights host Champlain Valley Union (Hinesburg, VT) to clash with the Redhawks in a Metro challenge on Wednesday, May 21. The Redhawks go into the challenge with a record of 3-4.
