The Lakeland Eagles baseball team scored 8 runs and held the host South Lyon East Cougars to 0 in the Eagles league win on Tuesday.
The Eagles now hold a 22-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to South Lyon East for a Lakes Valley test on Tuesday, May 20. Lakeland will play a Cougars team coming off a 7-7 non-league Chippewa Valley (Clinton Township, MI). The Cougars record now stands at 11-12.
With the defeat, South Lyon East drops to 11-13 on the year. The Cougars host Lakeland (White Lake, MI) to play the Eagles in a Lakes Valley test on Tuesday, May 20. The Eagles go into the test with a record of 21-10.
