In Tuesday's league challenge, the visiting Jefferson J-Hawks volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Belvidere North Blue Thunder.

The J-Hawks (6-15) will now prepare for their challenge against Guilford (Rockford, IL). The Vikings come into the Northern Illinois NIC-10 challenge with a 20-4 record. In their last challenge, Guilford beat Harlem (Machesney Park, IL), 2-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Blue Thunder meet the Belvidere Bucs (Belvidere, IL) in a Northern Illinois NIC-10 battle, on Thursday, May 22. Belvidere North will attempt to improve on its 1-20 season record. The Bucs go into the battle with a 1-22 record after their 2-0 league loss to Boylan Catholic (Rockford, IL).
