The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Lunenburg Central Chargers (Victoria, VA) and the visiting Amelia County Raiders (Amelia Court House, VA), observed Lunenburg Central's softball team get by Amelia County by a tally of 2-1.

The Chargers (16-1) will now prepare for their bout against Nottoway (Nottoway, VA). The Cougars go into the James River bout with a 12-7 record. In their last bout, Nottoway was nipped by Buckingham (Buckingham, VA), 7-2, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Raiders battle the Cumberland Dukes (Cumberland, VA) in a James River bout, on Wednesday, May 21. Amelia County will attempt to advance on its 6-5 season record. The Dukes go into the bout with a 2-14 record after their 19-0 league loss to Buckingham (Buckingham, VA).
