The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Mattanawcook Lynx (Lincoln, ME) and the host Central Red Devils (East Corinth, ME), observed Mattanawcook's softball team get by Central by a final score of 9-7.

The Lynx (6-3) will now prepare for their bout against Dexter (Dexter, ME). The Tigers go into the Class C North bout with a 7-3 record. In their last bout, Dexter tipped Foxcroft Academy (Dover-Foxcroft, ME), 15-1, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Red Devils battle the Orono Riots (Orono, ME) in a Class C North bout, on Friday, May 23. Central will attempt to better on its 4-6 season record. The Riots go into the bout with a 5-5 record after their 8-6 league win over Foxcroft Academy (Dover-Foxcroft, ME).
