The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Monadnock Huskies (East Swanzey, NH) and the host Stevens Cardinals (Claremont, NH), observed Monadnock's softball team get by Stevens by a tally of 7-2.

The Huskies (11-3) will now prepare for their bout against Trinity (Manchester, NH). The Pioneers go into the Division III bout with a 7-10 record. In their last bout, Trinity tipped Newfound Regional (Bristol, NH), 9-3, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Cardinals clash with the Hopkinton Hawks (Contoocook, NH) in a Division III bout, on Friday, May 23. Stevens will attempt to advance on its 4-9 season record. The Hawks go into the bout with a 10-5 record after their 3-1 league win over Somersworth (Somersworth, NH).
