Rhode Island High School Baseball - Narragansett holds off Johnston

Narragansett Mariners (Narragansett, RI) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Johnston Panthers (Johnston, RI), 7-3 in a league test.

With the win, Narragansett upgrades its record to 9-8 on the season. The Mariners travel to Tiverton (Tiverton, RI) to battle the Tigers in a Division 2 test on Monday, May 23. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 10-8. Tiverton lost 3-2 in their recent league test against Narragansett (Narragansett, RI)

With the defeat, Johnston falls to 13-3 on the season. The Panthers travel to Westerly (Westerly, RI) to battle the Bulldogs in a Division 2 test on Monday, May 23. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 19-2. Westerly won 11-0 in their recent non-league test against Stonington (Stonington, CT)
