In Saturday's non-league test, the visiting Pomfret School Griffins lacrosse squad scored a tight 9-7 victory over the Williston Northampton Wildcats.
The Griffins now have a 13-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Frederick Gunn for a non-league test on Saturday, May 21. Pomfret School will face a Highlanders squad coming off a 12-10 league loss to Albany Academy for Boys (Albany, NY). The Highlanders record now stands at 11-5.
In their next game, the Wildcats face the Canterbury School Saints (New Milford, CT) in a non-league test, on Saturday, May 21. Williston Northampton will attempt to move on its 4-12 season record. The Saints come into the battle with a 13-4 record after their 15-5 non-league win over Kent School (Kent, CT).
