Maine High School Softball - Old Town bounces Caribou

The Old Town Coyotes routed the host Caribou Vikings softball squad by a count of 18-0 in Saturday's league battle.
The Coyotes (8-3) will now prepare for their battle against Mount Desert Island (Mount Desert, ME). The Trojans go into the Class B North battle with a 6-3 record. In their last battle, Mount Desert Island topped Ellsworth (Ellsworth, ME), 3-2, in a league battle.
The Vikings now sport a 0-8 record. They play next when they host Houlton for a non-league battle on Monday, May 23. Caribou will meet a Shiretowners squad coming off a 11-3 league win over Fort Kent (Fort Kent, ME). The Shiretowners record now stands at 4-1.
