Ware Indians (Ware, MA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Palmer Panthers (Palmer, MA), 11-9 in a league challenge.

The Indians now own a 7-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hoosac Valley for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 24. Ware will face a Hurricanes squad coming off a 10-8 league win over Mount Greylock Regional (Williamstown, MA). The Hurricanes record now stands at 12-4.

With the loss, Palmer falls to 2-13 on the campaign. The Panthers host Lenox Memorial (Lenox, MA) to face the Millionaires in a non-league challenge on Monday, May 23. The Millionaires enter the challenge with a record of 1-6. Lenox Memorial lost 15-8 in their recent non-league challenge against Mount Everett Regional (Sheffield, MA)
