Texas High School Softball - Royse City holds off The Colony

Royse City Bulldogs (Royse City, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host The Colony Cougars (The Colony, TX), 8-6 in a non-league challenge.
The Bulldogs now own a 31-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Rock Hill for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 25. Royse City will battle a Blue Hawks squad coming off a 4-3 non-league win over Forney (Forney, TX). The Blue Hawks record now stands at 31-9.
With the loss, The Colony falls to 24-9 on the campaign.
