The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Freeman Mavericks (Richmond, VA) and the host Midlothian Trojans (Midlothian, VA), saw Freeman's lacrosse team top Midlothian by a margin of 16-2.
The Mavericks (13-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Patrick Henry (Roanoke, VA). The Patriots enter the non-league challenge with a 14-1 record. In their last challenge, Patrick Henry ran past Godwin (Richmond, VA), 11-7, in a non-league outing.
With the defeat, Midlothian drops to 8-5 on the season.
