New York High School Softball - Thousand Islands bounces Beaver River

Thousand Islands Vikings (Clayton, NY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Beaver River Beavers (Beaver Falls, NY), 7-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Vikings now own a 13-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Port Byron for a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 23. Thousand Islands will battle a Panthers squad coming off a 11-1 non-league win over West Canada Valley (Newport, NY). The Panthers record now stands at 12-6.

With the loss, Beaver River falls to 7-12 on the campaign.
