Northview Wildcats (Grand Rapids, MI) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Byron Center Bulldogs (Byron Center, MI), 3-1 in a league challenge.

The Wildcats now own a 18-16 record. They take the field next when they host Catholic Central for a non-league challenge on Friday, May 24. Northview will face a Cougars squad coming off a 9-8 non-league win over Central Montcalm (Stanton, MI). The Cougars record now stands at 12-11.

With the loss, Byron Center falls to 22-7 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to South Christian (Grand Rapids, MI) to face the Sailors in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 22. The Sailors enter the challenge with a record of 14-12.
