The Lake Region Lakers softball team scored 8 runs and limited the host Yarmouth Clippers to 7 in the Lakers league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Lake Region improves its record to 8-5 on the year. The Lakers host York (York, ME) to clash with the Wildcats in a Class B South game on Wednesday, May 22. The Wildcats come into the game with a record of 13-0. York won 10-0 in their recent league game against Freeport (Freeport, ME)

In their next game, the Clippers clash with the Wells Warriors (Wells, ME) in a Class B South game, on Friday, May 24. Yarmouth will attempt to improve on its 2-6 season record. The Warriors come into the game with a 8-6 record after their 15-0 league win over Gray-New Gloucester (Gray, ME).
