The Unity Christian Knights (Orange City, IA) baseball trounced the visiting Akron-Westfield Westerners (Akron, IA), 10-0 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.

The Knights now own a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Sioux City East for a non-league challenge on Friday, May 23. Unity Christian will clash with a Black Raiders team coming off a 8-1 league win over Lincoln (Council Bluffs, IA). The Black Raiders record now stands at 2-0.

With the defeat, Akron-Westfield drops to 2-1 on the year. The Westerners travel to Trinity Christian (Hull, IA) to clash with the Tigers in a War Eagle challenge on Friday, May 23. The Tigers go into the challenge with a record of 1-0. Trinity Christian won 11-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Lawton-Bronson (Lawton, IA)
