The Southeast Polk Rams (Pleasant Hill, IA) baseball trounced the visiting Roosevelt Roughriders (Des Moines, IA), 9-3 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.
The Rams now own a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they host Ames for a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 22. Southeast Polk will clash with a Little Cyclones team coming off a 10-2 non-league loss to Johnston (Johnston, IA). The Little Cyclones record now stands at 0-1.
With the defeat, Roosevelt drops to 0-5 on the year. The Roughriders travel to Waukee (Waukee, IA) to clash with the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 22. The Warriors go into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
