The Schaumburg Saxons (Schaumburg, IL) lacrosse routed the visiting Hoffman Estates Hawks (Hoffman Estates, IL), 8-2 in Wednesday's league outing.
The Saxons now own a 9-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to York for a non-league outing on Monday, May 26. Schaumburg will face a Dukes squad coming off a 10-9 league loss to Oak Park-River Forest (Oak Park, IL). The Dukes record now stands at 11-6.
With the loss, Hoffman Estates falls to 5-13 on the year. The Hawks host Conant (Hoffman Estates, IL) to face the Cougars in a Mid Suburban outing on Wednesday, May 28. The Cougars go into the outing with a record of 9-10.
