The Macomb Bombers (Macomb, IL) soccer nipped the host Beardstown Tigers (Beardstown, IL), 2-1 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.
The Bombers now hold a 9-6 record. They play next when they travel to Williamsville for a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 24. Macomb will encounter a Bullets squad coming off a 11-0 non-league win over St. Thomas More (Champaign, IL). The Bullets record now stands at 21-5.
With the loss, Beardstown moves to 6-15 on the year.
