Michigan High School Softball - Grosse Pointe South bounces Marine City

In Wednesday's non-league match, the host Grosse Pointe South Blue Devils softball team scored a nice 12-2 win over the Marine City Mariners.
The Blue Devils (24-7) will now prepare for their match against Chippewa Valley (Clinton Township, MI). The Big Reds come into the Macomb Area - Red match with a 10-14 record.
In their next game, the Mariners confront the L'Anse Creuse Lancers (Harrison Township, MI) in a non-league match, on Friday, May 23. Marine City will attempt to better on its 9-6 season record. The Lancers come into the match with a 7-11 record after their 13-1 non-league loss to Port Huron Northern (Port Huron, MI).
