The crowd at Wednesday's league bout between the Lewiston Blue Devils (Lewiston, ME) and the host Mt. Blue Cougars (Farmington, ME), observed Lewiston's softball team get by Mt. Blue by a tally of 7-6.

The Blue Devils (6-6) will now prepare for their bout against Oxford Hills (South Paris, ME). The Vikings go into the Class A North bout with a 9-3 record. In their last bout, Oxford Hills tipped Mt. Ararat (Topsham, ME), 4-0, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Cougars clash with the Hampden Broncos (Hampden, ME) in a Class A North bout, on Tuesday, May 27. Mt. Blue will attempt to advance on its 4-5 season record. The Broncos go into the bout with a 7-5 record after their 3-2 league loss to Bangor (Bangor, ME).
