Maine High School Softball - Madawaska falls to Washburn

In Wednesday's non-league match, the host Washburn Beavers softball team scored a nice 17-1 victory over the Madawaska Owls.
The Beavers (2-7) will now prepare for their match against Katahdin (Sherman Station, ME). The Cougars go into the non-league match with a 8-0 record.
In their next game, the Owls battle the Hodgdon Hawks (Hodgdon, ME) in a Class D North match, on Friday, May 23. Madawaska will attempt to better on its 1-6 season record. The Hawks go into the match with a 2-5 record after their 6-4 league loss to Ashland (Ashland, ME).
