Pennsylvania High School Baseball - Pine-Richland gets by Hempfield Area

Spectators at Monday's non-league battle between the Pine-Richland Rams (Gibsonia, PA) and the visiting Hempfield Area Spartans (Greensburg, PA), saw Pine-Richland's baseball squad knock off Hempfield Area by a count of 14-12.

Coming up next, the Rams play the Mt. Lebanon Blue Devils (Pittsburgh, PA) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, May 23. Pine-Richland will attempt to move on its 15-6 season record. The Blue Devils enter the battle with a 12-10 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Seneca Valley (Harmony, PA).

The Spartans now possess a 11-10 record.
