Spectators at Monday's league battle between the Taylor Griffins (Taylor, MI) and the host Lincoln Park Railsplitters (Lincoln Park, MI), saw Taylor's baseball squad knock off Lincoln Park by a count of 9-2.

Coming up next, the Griffins play the Edsel Ford Thunderbirds (Dearborn, MI) in a Downriver battle, on Friday, May 26. Taylor will attempt to move on its 10-12 season record. The Thunderbirds enter the battle with a 10-15 record after their 4-2 league loss to Trenton (Trenton, MI).
