The Cranston West Falcons (Cranston, RI) softball routed the visiting Scituate Spartans (North Scituate, RI), 12-2 in Monday's league bout.

The Falcons (15-3) will now prepare for their bout against St. Raphael Academy (Pawtucket, RI). The Saints go into the Division 1A (State) bout with a 7-11 record. In their last bout, St. Raphael Academy notched a victory over Ponaganset (North Scituate, RI), 9-8, in a non-league bout.

The Spartans now possess a 2-14 record. They play next when they host Cumberland for a Division 1A (State) bout on Tuesday, May 23. Scituate will confront a Clippers squad coming off a 3-2 league win over North Kingstown (North Kingstown, RI). The Clippers record now stands at 11-9.
