In Monday's league contest, the Riverview Pirates (Riverview, MI) softball team overwhelmed the host Grosse Ile Red Devils (Grosse Ile, MI), by a margin of 20-3.

With the triumph, Riverview moves its record to 5-8 on the year. The Pirates host Airport (Carleton, MI) to play the Jets in a Huron contest on Tuesday, May 23. The Jets come into the contest with a record of 11-8. Airport lost 7-6 in their recent league contest against Milan (Milan, MI)

In their next game, the Red Devils play the Stoney Creek Cougars (Rochester Hills, MI) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, May 23. Grosse Ile will attempt to move on its 1-16 season record.
