Hingham Harbormen (Hingham, MA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Whitman-Hanson Regional Panthers (Whitman, MA), 4-3 in a league challenge.

The Harbormen now own a 16-2 record. They take the field next when they host Duxbury for a Patriot - Keenan challenge on Tuesday, May 23. Hingham will face a Dragons squad coming off a 10-5 non-league loss to Carver (Carver, MA). The Dragons record now stands at 2-11.

With the loss, Whitman-Hanson Regional falls to 4-9 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Silver Lake Regional (Kingston, MA) to face the Lakers in a Patriot - Keenan challenge on Tuesday, May 23. The Lakers enter the challenge with a record of 17-1. Silver Lake Regional won 15-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Marshfield (Marshfield, MA)
