In Monday's non-league contest, the Union County Patriots (Liberty, IN) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Knightstown Panthers (Knightstown, IN), by a margin of 16-5.

With the triumph, Union County moves its record to 19-4 on the year. The Patriots travel to Hagerstown (Hagerstown, IN) to play the Tigers in a non-league contest on Tuesday, May 23. The Tigers come into the contest with a record of 8-12. Hagerstown lost 5-1 in their recent non-league contest against Rushville (Rushville, IN)
