The Madawaska Owls softball team (Madawaska, ME), was routed 21-1 in Wednesday's league test with the visiting Ashland Hornets (Ashland, ME)

Coming up next, the Hornets encounter the Fort Fairfield Tigers (Fort Fairfield, ME) in a Class D North test, on Saturday, May 25. Ashland will attempt to improve on its 5-4 season record. The Tigers come into the test with a 1-8 record after their 22-2 league loss to Hodgdon (Hodgdon, ME).

The Owls (1-9) will now prepare for their test against Washburn (Washburn, ME). The Beavers come into the non-league test with a 0-6 record. In their last test, Washburn was routed by Katahdin (Sherman Station, ME), 18-0, in a non-league test.
