Pennsylvania High School Softball - Marple Newtown nudges Interboro

Marple Newtown Fightin' Tigers (Newtown Square, PA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Interboro Buccaneers (Prospect Park, PA), 3-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Fightin' Tigers now own a 17-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bayard Rustin for a non-league challenge on Friday, May 24. Marple Newtown will face a Golden Knights squad coming off a 10-2 league win over Oxford (Oxford, PA). The Golden Knights record now stands at 16-4.

With the loss, Interboro moves to 16-6 on the season.
