In Wednesday's non-league contest, the Narraguagus Knights (Harrington, ME) softball team held off the visiting Jonesport-Beals Royals (Jonesport, ME), by a margin of 2-1.

With the triumph, Narraguagus moves its record to 9-4 on the year. The Knights travel to George Stevens Academy (Blue Hill, ME) to play the Eagles in a Class C North contest on Tuesday, May 28. The Eagles come into the contest with a record of 5-10. George Stevens Academy won 20-10 in their recent league contest against Central (East Corinth, ME)

In their next game, the Royals play the Machias Bulldogs (Machias, ME) in a Class D North contest, on Thursday, May 23. Jonesport-Beals will attempt to move on its 4-7 season record. The Bulldogs come into the contest with a 6-5 record after their 3-2 league win over Woodland (Baileyville, ME).
