In Wednesday's league contest, the Woodland Dragons (Baileyville, ME) softball team overwhelmed the host Shead Tigers (Eastport, ME), by a margin of 16-0.
With the triumph, Woodland moves its record to 11-3 on the year. The Dragons travel to Penobscot Valley (Howland, ME) to clash with the Howlers in a Class D North game on Wednesday, May 29. The Howlers come into the game with a record of 10-1.
In their next game, the Tigers clash with the Calais Blue Devils (Calais, ME) in a non-league game, on Friday, May 24. Shead will attempt to move on its 0-11 season record. The Blue Devils come into the game with a 3-10 record after their 17-0 non-league loss to Woodland (Baileyville, ME).
