Illinois High School Baseball - Lincoln defeats MacArthur

May 22, 2025: Lincoln, IL 62656

The crowd at Thursday's non-league battle between the Lincoln Railsplitters (Lincoln, IL) and the visiting MacArthur Generals (Decatur, IL), saw Lincoln's baseball team gain a win over MacArthur by a tally of 7-1.

The Railsplitters (14-16) will now prepare for their battle against Lanphier (Springfield, IL). The Lions enter the non-league battle with a 1-22 record. In their last battle, Lanphier was overwhelmed by Taylorville (Taylorville, IL), 15-4, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Generals face the Rochester Rockets (Rochester, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, May 28. MacArthur will attempt to better on its 4-21 season record.
