The crowd at Thursday's league battle between the Penn Kingsmen (Mishawaka, IN) and the visiting South Bend Saint Joseph Huskies (South Bend, IN), saw Penn's baseball team get by South Bend Saint Joseph by a tally of 11-10.
The Kingsmen (23-1) will now prepare for their battle against Fort Wayne Snider (Fort Wayne, IN). The Panthers enter the non-league battle with a 21-4 record. In their last battle, Fort Wayne Snider held off Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger (Fort Wayne, IN), 4-2, in a league battle.
Next, the Huskies face the NorthWood Panthers (Nappanee, IN) in a non-league battle, on Friday, May 23. South Bend Saint Joseph will attempt to upgrade on its 21-5 season record. The Panthers enter the battle with a 15-10 record after their 4-2 league win over Goshen (Goshen, IN).
