Maine High School Softball - Southern Aroostook bounces Ashland

In Thursday's league match, the visiting Southern Aroostook Warriors softball team scored a nice 17-4 win over the Ashland Hornets.
The Warriors (6-2) will now prepare for their match against Central Aroostook (Mars Hill, ME). The Panthers come into the Class D North match with a 8-0 record. In their last match, Central Aroostook notched a victory over Fort Fairfield (Fort Fairfield, ME), 9-3, in a league match.
In their next game, the Hornets battle the Wisdom Pioneers (St. Agatha, ME) in a Class D North match, on Friday, May 23. Ashland will attempt to better on its 4-3 season record. The Pioneers come into the match with a 4-4 record after their 21-1 league loss to Katahdin (Sherman Station, ME).
