Virginia High School Softball - Broadway bounces Spotswood

The Broadway Gobblers softball team scored 7 runs and held the host Spotswood Trailblazers to 2 in the Gobblers league win on Thursday.
The Gobblers now sport a 16-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rockbridge County for a Valley battle on Friday, May 23. Broadway will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 3-2 non-league win over East Rockingham (Elkton, VA). The Wildcats record now stands at 5-8.
With the loss, Spotswood moves to 10-9 on the season. The Trailblazers host William Monroe (Stanardsville, VA) to confront the Dragons in a non-league battle on Friday, May 23. The Dragons come into the battle with a record of 5-11. William Monroe lost 12-3 in their recent non-league battle against Broadway (Broadway, VA)
