The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Fort Defiance Indians (Fort Defiance, VA) and the host Waynesboro Little Giants (Waynesboro, VA), observed Fort Defiance's softball squad top Waynesboro by a count of 11-0.

The Little Giants (2-14) will now prepare for their challenge against Riverheads (Staunton, VA). The Gladiators go into the Shenandoah challenge with a 7-7 record. In their last challenge, Riverheads toppled Staunton (Staunton, VA), 15-1, in a league challenge.
