The Orono Riots the host Central Red Devils softball squad by a count of 9-7 in Friday's league challenge.
Next, the Riots meet the Mattanawcook Lynx (Lincoln, ME) in a Class C North challenge, on Thursday, May 28. Orono will attempt to upgrade on its 8-4 season record.
The Red Devils (8-3) will now prepare for their challenge against George Stevens Academy (Blue Hill, ME). The Eagles go into the Class C North challenge with a 2-11 record. In their last challenge, George Stevens Academy by Bucksport (Bucksport, ME), 17-2, in a league challenge.
